There is a dog friendly beach just 50 metres up to the north and great fishing and surfing directly out the front. A truly relaxing beach holiday can be had at South Golden Beach but it is also close to the action of Byron, Bangalow, and Kingscliff if seeking some nightlife or a little retail therapy.
